Having previously looked at the composition of Guernica that I would like to use in my piece, I sketched up a rough idea for how I would like to present my work on canvas. I have replaced all characters in Picasso's piece with chickens, which all have a distressed look upon their face. Although this illustration may not reflect my final outcome, I have used it for reference. I also used the Paint application to outline some of the main shapes used in the original piece so that I can include them in my composition. The rest of the empty space will be filled with lines to represent chicken wire/cage. A little more planning and experimentation with paints then I should be good to proceed onto my final work!
