Further sketchbook work & composition ideas

Carrying on with work in my sketchbook, I have decided that a play on Picasso's Guernica is the concept I would like to go for. As he created the piece as a response to the Spanish Civil War, creating a huge impact on the audience and delivering a strong story of the pain that the victims had to endure. I want to use the composition of Guernica, which I explored, in my final piece. My inspiration came from looking at Picasso's drawings of screeching chickens alongside research into the confined lives that chickens live in in factory farms.
